What's your AirTag?

After moving to iPhone and seeing multiple videos and reviews on Apple products, ML(Machine Learning), and AI( Artificial Intelligence) on every one of my internet platforms started throwing up recommendations, videos, and reviews on Apple products.

Honestly, I was intimidated, and it slowly created a desire to own every one of Apple's product lines.  Sometimes I honestly enjoy watching each of the videos that Apple creates to the extent that I was really interested in knowing the brain behind those brilliant concepts. Also, the Apple page on youtube doesn't let any ads play 😉.

That's when I came across an interesting Apple product called AirTag

AirTag is fundamentally a tracking device developed by Apple. This tiny-looking thing is engineered perfectly and aesthetically pleasing with an excellent round design with a steel side that has an Apple logo and its technology mentioned and a smooth white dial on the other side (apparently you can customize this side with an emoji or characters of your choice).

I really wanted the product because I felt the technology was intriguing, fascinating, and amazing. Also, I recently bought a new Royal Enfield and what better keychain could fit than the Apple AirTag itself?  We usually don't make a decision based on one reason, it's a culmination of multiple reasons and I believe if we really want something we try to bring in multiple factors and attach it to our wants. Thus, my fascination, need for a keychain, and of course, owning a new technology were attached to the decision of buying an AirTag and I finally bought it in a sale on Flipkart.

Alas, it arrived! It was amazingly cute and quite useful at the same time. Even though I never lost a key or wallet, this product gave me a sense of security and confidence I never had before I am no more worried about losing stuff that I attach an AirTag to. All I had to do was pair it to my iPhone. Well, try experiencing this product once and I am sure you'll like it.

One rainy day in Bangalore on my way to the office, I was just thinking about AirTag, and suddenly something fired in my mind - " You are securing your things with an AirTag. What if you lose yourself? What device or process will help you find your way back? ". These questions were constantly ringing inside my head, and I started thinking about multiple answers.

So many thoughts crept up, remember when I said I never used to worry about losing my stuff because I always took care of them? But still, when I attached an AirTag to those things -I found new confidence and a fresh outlook. I had this amazing confidence that I could always find my way back to those things. So, what about me? I have been taking care of myself and trying not to lose myself.  What if ? I have an AirTag that will help me find my way back to myself. Will it improve my current confidence, will it help me develop new perspectives, and will it help me help people more?

As I was pondering through I found an AirTag(let's call it LifeTag) that I had for myself that used to help me find my way back but I no longer use it or haven't paired it to myself. It was nothing but Journaling

Journaling simply means writing down your thoughts, ideas, and emotions or simply capturing the events that happened throughout the day.

I used to journal at night which helped me gain clarity on what was happening and eventually helped me declutter my mind and keep it fresh for a new day. And whenever I had a bad day or feel lost all I had to do was turn back to a similar day or emotion and check what happened and how I overcame it. Studies also show that Journaling can help with emotion management, innovation, self-development, etc... There are numerous applications of Journaling (a bit of research will help you understand).

I am still wondering how I lost touch with such a beautiful and amazing LifeTag. Nevertheless buying an AirTag has helped me realize the LifeTag that I had lost. All I must do is pair it back with myself so that I can feel more confident and always find my way back to myself.

Now, Journaling is just one of the many LifeTags that are out there in the market. You know which LifeTag will help you through the process of Self-discovery.

Good luck finding your LifeTag!💓

Disciplined Thinking !

I have been recently getting active on Twitter and LinkedIn. There are multiple reasons, one is a fascination with the platforms themselves, and the next is the ability to network with so many like-minded people, professionals from the same line of work, and follow a lot of high-thinkers. Above all the most important reasons are Learning and Inspiration.  As I was scrolling through Twitter without a purpose, I happened to pass through a tweet that caught my attention. It read "Writing is Disciplined Thinking". I was really engrossed in that Tweet and started contemplating the meaning and reasons for the statement.  It is when I realized the power of writing and saw the potential for a new blog.  I was seeking answers from within while asking myself multiple questions like "Why did you start writing ?", "What benefits did you get from writing?" , "How did it impact your life? ". My mind went crazy with a mountain of answers and I felt writing ab...

Small Change, Big Impact !

In the summer of 2022, my phone's (Samsung Note 9) battery decided to die on me after putting up with my grunts and gaming for 4+ long years. I didn't want to give it away or change the battery; don't ask me why! Maybe I was too lazy to go to the service center or wanted to look for a new phone.  After much consideration, deliberation, contemplation, and a lot of persuasion from my dear friends, I decided to buy myself a new phone. Not just a phone but an iPhone (drum roll please). I got myself a brand new iPhone 13 in the new forest green color, why green? I am still pondering over it.  I  remember the day I held the new iPhone in my hands. Surreal, premium, and a fine phone. I was new to the entire Apple iOS system. I was slowly and steadily navigating through the phone while enjoying every click and swipe I was making. It wasn't as scary as I anticipated moving from android to iOS.  Of course, ensuring I hid this beautiful forest green in a silicone case and a scr...
